Fall Arrest Safety Systems.

 

Over recent years legislation has been introduced to help reduce the risk of serious injury being caused by operatives falling during the routine maintenance of buildings and other structures. Careful consideration of work practices and the provision of specialist personal protective equipment can help to reduce that risk considerably. Arresta Safety Products supply and install a comprehensive range of fall arrest systems which, used in conjunction with personal protective equipment, allows users to work in safety, both the Arresta-Rail, for prevention of falls from existing fixed ladders, and also Doublesafe for overhead fall restraint whilst working at height. All Arresta components are fully tested and the products are CE marked in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 795: 1997 and the codes of practice intended to complement it. Arresta can also supply and fit new safety ladders with a combined fall arrest system negating the use of hoops which are unsightly and not entirely effective in some cases. Security gates and ladder locks to prevent unauthorized access are also part of the range of ladder accessories provided as well as a complete range of personal protective equipment and height safety kits for both industrial and construction sites. Other services provided are training in the use of height safety and personal protective equipment and risk assessments where clients need independent advice on areas of risk and compliance with legislation.
