In response to the recommendations given in the above HSE Warning regarding the
use of rigid type vertical fall arrest systems Arresta Safety Products have had the Arresta-Rail
tested further, taking particular acount of the possibility of the user falling from a position other than directly downwards.
These tests were carried out by TUV-NEL in East Kilbride, Glasgow and in all cases the system performed well within the requirements
of not only the current standard, EN 353-1 but also the tests contained within the former standard BS5062 Pt
1.
